Howdy
Where to start…I guess with my name. I’m Susan. You can also call me SusanAshlea, Suzybear, SueZQue, Sue, and a myriad of other nicknames. I respond to pretty much anything.
I remember the first book I read that had to do with Vampires: The Vampire Diaries. I was 16, a junior in high school and I fell in love with paranormal fiction right then and there. Since then I have read many different books here and there, but when I discovered The Twilight Saga at the urging of a school teacher friend, it all changed. I picked up the first of the four books in August of 2008 and the rest is history. I remember reading New Moon in the span of about 5 hours. I went right into Eclipse, and to my dismay I discovered that I had accidentally ordered the Spanish language version. I tried to read the book, regardless of the fact that I don’t know a lick of Spanish, and it was at that point that I realized I had been sucked in.
I discovered fan fiction in January and, frustrated at my inability to find many post Breaking Dawn stories, I decided to write my own. I finished Supernova in June of 2008 and immediately started on another story, this time focusing on a minor character. Somewhere in the middle of all that, I became a forum moderator and beta for a Twilight fansite. When the opportunity for MyVampFiction presented itself, I jumped at the chance to work with some amazing people.
In real life, I am a phlebotomist [Insert vampire joke here]. But in my free time, I dabble in photography, art, and writing. I am active in my community and in my church as well. I look forward to meeting many new people and having the opportunity to share my views and writing with others as well.
