New Moon fan reactions
Kat7783, one of the MVF Lair moderatores, was kind enough to send us her opinions on New Moon. The general concensus is that everyone loves it, but here is what Kat had to say:
Being a slave to spoilers and basically anything Summit will give us twihards, I had an idea of what parts of the movie were going to be my favourite. Having said that, New Moon is incredibly good, well written and of course well casted. If you read New Moon and have a good imagination you have the movie. Chris Weitz followed the book to a ‘T’. The book is a monster, 500 pages, and he took the key parts and made the best movie ever. The transition between one scene to the next was the best part. He made it flow. Bella throwing the pizza then it was a wrench…enough said!
Now I have read New Moon countless times, given that, I was still at the edge of my seat. I did not know what to expect with the werewolves and the interaction but they were hilarious. Charlie Swan officially has the best lines. He gets the coolest dad award.
I also liked the small things. Kind of a new twist on how Harry died and I like it, it incorporated the characters more, especially Victoria, shows her presence. I also REALLY liked when Jacob got mad at Mike at the movies. It shows that yes he was changing and it wasn’t just sickness. I love love love movie Jessica and movie Eric. Great casting!
Cliff hanger ending though. When is Eclipse coming out? Not soon enough.
May I dare make one more comment? I might just be a turn coat…Team Jacob?
That is my official review. My opinion might change when I see it again on Saturday and then again the next Saturday. Yup! I am obsessed. Welcome to my Twilight world..er…NEW MOON world!
