Happy Halloween and congratulations to the ladies and their new site! I’m sirenastarot and I’m here to announce the start of myvampfiction’s Wicked Wednesdays.

Wicked Wednesdays is a collaborative effort between the ladies of myvampfiction and myself, giving you a link to a brand-spankin’ new, smut-filled vamp fan fic every Wednesday. The idea for Wicked Wednesdays started when I joined the Simply Twilight website a few months ago. After posting the first couple of chapters of my story I couldn’t help but notice how few people reviewed. I had recently been asked to write a one-shot for a series created by ninapolitan. Each week she posted a different story by a different author on her profile. After my story posted my reviews skyrocketed.

Subsequently, I contacted the mods of ST and joined them in the move to myvampfiction.  Thus, Wicked Wednesdays was born!

Each week I’ll be bringing you interviews and profiles with new authors, plus sharing naughty little teasers. I’ll also rec smutty fics, answer any questions you might have about writing smut, and explore different types of smut. Basically I’ll be that best friend your parents disapproved of, but you loved because they showed you your first picture of a peen.

We have authors lined up until December, but we would love to have more authors join us. If you  are interested in writing something for Wicked Wednesdays here are the rules, regulations, standard operating procedures or whatever you want to call them.

l You need to be at least old enough to buy porn. Wicked Wednesdays will be rated NC-17.

l Have at least one story published somewhere, that we can read through. We will make sure it is what we are looking for and that it is free of gramatical errors and such.

l Have written some kind of lemon or lime before. If you’ve never written smut and would like to give it try, we can talk.

l Be willing to have your story beta-ed.  If you don’t have a beta we can help you get a great beta. We would also like to read through it before we link it here.

l The story itself can be canon or non-canon, out of character, AU or AH, a one-shot, or it can be a smutty outtake from a story you’ve already started as long as it is in the vampire genre.

l Be willing to have it openly posted on your personal livejournal account.

l Be willing to not to post the story anywhere else until after it has been featured on Wicked Wednesdays. After that, you are free to post it anywhere you please.

For the time being we will use livejournal to post the stories. As soon as the fanfiction part of the site goes up the hope is to move it there, but you can always find the link to the next story on the myvampfiction blog.

First up will be our very own SarahBella. Not only is she one of the fantabulous owners of myvampfiction, she is also author of several stories,including the multi-chapter fic “The Dark Side of Twilight.”

It’s a fresh look at what was going on in Edward’s head during Twilight. What I love about this story is that even though Edward is 108 years old you really get to see the teenager in him. Edward is often portrayed in fanfiction as being so perfect and secure in his decisions, that seeing him awkward and unsure during a “sex talk” with Carlisle was endearing.

Who is your favorite vamp of all-time and why?

I’m going to have to say Edward, because mutts howl and men growl.

No, really, I love the dark romanticism of his character. He’s a romantic, but a pessimist at heart. He’s finally met his soul mate, but doesn’t believe he’ll be allowed to keep her. His character is so full of delicious contradictions.

If you could ask Edward one question, what would it be?

I would want to know what his biggest regret was. I think we all know his greatest accomplishments, but I would really like to hear the other side of that equation.

What is the one fic you think everyone should read?

Bare, by StellaLunaSky. Seriously, if you’re not reading this, you’re missing out.

What fics are you reading now?

I have a huge list of fics I’m always reading. A few of my faves are Sacrificial Lamb by lalina, Facebook Friends by GreenPuma, and Geek Love by SassenachWench.

Tell us what inspired your Wicked Wednesdays submission?

I just sort of sat down, listening to some KOL, and let my fingers do the talking.

“She let herself in through the unlocked rear door, as was their custom. Her Master was nowhere in sight and she knew exactly what to do. She walked directly to the staircase, fondly stroking the banister she’d been tied to so many times as she climbed. At the end of the hall was her Master’s bedroom, and through the master closet, was her Master’s playroom.”
