This week on Wicked Wednesday, I’m here to announce a new contest!

The “Anything but Twilight” Vamp Smut Contest

What! No Twilight! You have got to be kidding me! Yup, that’s right folks! No Cullens, No Werewolves, No Fragile Little Humans. Finding vamp smut outside of  the Twilight saga is hard. So I’m making a fandom-wide call to all smut writers to step out of the Twilight-induced haze and venture into another fandom. There are plenty of couples (or threesomes, or more) to explore.

Here are the specs:

Entries will be accepted from December 2, 2009 until 11:59 pm central time, January 13, 2010.

The MVF betas, SarahBella, SusanAshlea, Meesh, Saluki, Jules, LexieCullen and myself will pick the top 5 entries.

Readers will be allowed to vote on the winner.

Voting for the contest will begin on January 20^th and will end January 27^th at 11:59 pm central time.

Winners will be announced on the February 3^rd edition of Wicked Wednesday.

Winners will receive Featured Story status in the MVF dungeon.

All stories should be posted in the MyVampFiction Dungeon and must meet the MVF requirements. After the contest is over you can post anywhere you would like.

We are looking for smut with a developed plot. The rating should be NC-17. I’m not saying it has to be graphic, just well written smut with an obvious lemon. Saying that, NO ONE UNDER THE AGE OF 18 is allowed to enter.

All ships will be accepted, including slash. The only pairings NOT allowed are pedophilic and incest pairings.

There should be at least one vampire in the pairing. Fledglings count.

Crossovers will be allowed as long as both worlds are in the accepted fandoms.

Stories should be new one-shots that have not been previously posted, are not outtakes from other stories or used in any other contest.

Stories cannot be made into a multi-chapter story until after the contest is complete.

Word count should be between 2K and 5K.

Limit 2 fics per author. Collaborations are allowed, but counts toward the 2 fic limit per author.

This week’s WW submission is by ekimmuh, author of two multi-chapter Twilight fics. The first is called Finding Bella. I was sucked into this story from the first chapter. It deals with some heavey themes such as sexual slavery, human trafficking, and D/s relationships, but is a wonderfully written and well worth the read.

Her other story is called Perspective. It’s a post-Eclipse, pre-Breaking Dawn. From Edward’s POV you get to see him deal with the decision he made to sleep with Bella on his wedding night.This week’s WW submission (http://myvampfiction.com/dungeon/viewstory.php?sid=154&warning=5) is an outtake from that story, so we sat down and had a chat.

Me: Lets start with an easy one

ekimmuh: Okay.

me: How did you find fanfiction and what inspired you to start writing?

ekimmuh: I have always been a romantic and I got hooked on the relationship of  Michael and Sara on the TV show Prison Break. Wanting more of their romance than what they show was giving me, I stumbled onto fan fiction. After reading for a few months I discovered that although I’d found some good stories, I really hadn’t found the one that gave the two characters the ending that I always envisioned/wanted them to have so I started writing. Long story short…that story turned out to be 120,000 words and I haven’t stopped writing since.

me: So other than prison break and twilight do you write for any other fandoms?

ekimmuh: No. Just those two and I just finished writing my first novel that I’m hoping to try and publish.

me: Congrats on finishing a novel! What genre if you don’t mind me asking?

ekimmuh: It is a Contemporary Romantic Suspense

me: Awesome.

Do you have a favorite fic?

ekimmuh: I have a few favorites, but if I have to pick on it would be The Fan by Pears13. She actually got me to watch baseball after reading it and I am NOT a baseball fan.

me:  What book are you currently reading and do you have a favorite?

ekimmuh: Right now my favorite is the Outlander series, but out of those, Voyager is my favorite. I think the author is just amazing in her story telling and the way she weaves actual history and fact into her fictional story.

me: Since this is a smut blog, who would you write in your ideal lemon and who do you enjoy reading?

ekimmuh: Write – Edward and Bella. To read – Buffy and Angel

me: Are you pretty much a canon shipper?

ekimmuh: Yes.  I guess just that I write smut as an extension of my romantic tendencies and a way for my characters to express their love. That’s probably why I tend to stick to cannon couples.

me: Okay let’s play my new favorite game. Ready?

ekimmuh: lol. Okay.

me: Name your 3 favorite minor characters in vamp fiction.

ekimmuh: Alice, Willow, Carlisle.

me: Okay now out those three which one would you:

A. Fuck

B. Marry

C. Kill

and why.

ekimmuh: I guess I could see Marrying Carlisle but can I say neither on the rest. I more see Alice and Willow as best buds. As for why Marrying Carlisle…he is just a very good man. You don’t get much better than Carlisle. I guess Alice would be C. Can I put Carlisle for A too. I just don’t see Willow fitting into any of those for me.

me: Last question. What is one thing we might be surprised to learn about you?

ekimmuh: I am a singer. I’ve been to Nashville 4 times and recorded a two song demo tape with a live band about nine years ago.

me: Nice.  Thanks!

“Schuyler took Jack’s hand and led him to the living room, where they retired to the pile of oversized pillows scattered by the fireplace.  As soon as Jack sat down, with his back against the coffee table, Schuyler sat down on his lap, straddling his waist.  She took a moment to stroke his perfect blonde hair before she reached behind him and grabbed one of the champagne flutes on the table behind him.

As she brought the glass to her lips, a few drops slid down her chin and onto her chest.

“Oh,” she exclaimed and started to wipe the moisture away.

“Let me,” Jack said, leaning forward.  He started at the base of her neck and dragged his tongue over her flesh, lapping up the sweet champagne.  When he got to her chin, he placed a kiss there before capturing her lips with his.  There was no softness behind this kiss, it was raw and animalistic.  Schuyler thrust her tongue in Jack’s mouth and gripped his hair tighter.

“Schuyler,” Jack mumbled against her mouth.

Schuyler pulled away reluctantly.  Jack’s hair was tousled and his lips were red and puffy; she didn’t think she had ever seen him look as sexy as he did at that moment. She cocked an eyebrow and raised her fingers to her own red, swollen lips.

“May I?” Jack asked, lifting the hem of her shirt.  Schuyler nodded and Jack continued to lift her shirt until it was discarded on the floor beside them.  Jack’s hands immediately cupped her breasts.  He slid his thumbs over her nipples, which responded to his touch immediately.  Then, in one deft motion, he brought his hands behind her back and unclasped her bra.  He drew it slowly down her arms and placed it by her shirt.”
