MyVampFiction is excited to announce our first contest of 2010:

The Love Spelled Backwards is Love Valentine Fan Fiction Challenge!

Here are all the details:

Write a one shot about love & submit it to The MVF Dungeon by clicking here.

–The story must be original, written for this challenge, and not posted to any other fan fiction archive.  Once the winners have been announced, all authors are free to post their stories to any/all archives.

–The story can be ANY fandom, ANY pairing, ANY rating, and ANY category (AH, AU, wolf-pack, slash, etc).  So let the creative juices flow and show us what you got!

–Each author can enter in two different categories. If you write more than one story, they must be entered in separate categories.

–Collaborations are welcomed.

–Stories must have at least 3,000 words, but no more than 20,000 words.

–Submissions will be accepted between January 1, 2010 and February 8, 2010.  Each story must meet the submission criteria for the MVF Dungeon and have the following information in the story notes: The Love Spelled Backwards is Love Valentine Fan Fiction Challenge; Title; Author; Challenge category

The Challenge/Award categories are as follows:

“Black Rose” category for Best Dark Romance

“Pappy Dan” category for Best Lemon

“Snuggle Buddy” category for Best Fluff

“House of Southern Blue Blood Vampire Academy Mystery Slayer Diaries” category for Best Non-Twilight story. (this category accepts stories for the following fandoms/series: House of Night, Blue Bloods, Vampire Diaries, Southern Vampire Mysteries/True Blood, Vampire Academy, Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Angel)

In addition to these categories, we will also have prizes for the following:

“Ebert & Roeper Award” for the Best/Most Prolific Reviewer

Judges Choice award.

–On February 9th, we will advertise and feature all ofthese stories and invite fans to read and review.

–Judges will be narrow down the submissions to the top 3 in each category.

–On February 14th, we will announce the finalists and allow readers to vote for their favorite in each category.

–Voting will last 5 days

–Winners will be announced on February 20th, 2010!

In addition to banners, the winner in each category will recieve a handmade, personalized, canvas tote bag! Each tote will contain additional super special prizes! This is a contest you DON’T want to miss!
