It’s that time again.  MVF brings you another edition of Wicked Wednesday!  Remember, kids, this is NC-17.  If you’re underage or smut isn’t your thing, you might want to skip this particular entry. Hello my ladies in lust…it’s time again for Wicked Wednesdays and this week, I’m responsible.  Uh-oh.  What the heck am I going to write about? After giving it some thought, and considering this week’s story is a D/s tale by MyVampFiction’s own SarahBella, I finally came up with something.

I’ll readily admit that I am very much a novice when it comes to any BDSM related fiction.  In fact, until a couple of months ago, I probably wouldn’t have gone near it.

That was before I met V, as in Vishous from the Black Dagger Brotherhood books.  If you haven’t read them yet, what exactly are you waiting for?  Seriously, they deserve your attention.  If you have not read the series, or made it to book 5, Lover Unbound,  proceed with caution, there are spoilers ahead.

I have fallen for every brother for one reason or another but Vishous owns a piece of my heart.  It’s difficult for me to sum up V in a short little piece, but I will attempt to do him justice.

Vishous had a difficult childhood, to put it lightly.  He was raised by his father, who was known as “the Bloodletter” in a war camp, and his first experience with sex was when he was forced to sodomize his defeated opponent while the entire camp looked on.  When he defied his father, who had forced his action, he was punished with expulsion from the camp, but not before his father marked him and had him partially castrated.

Needless to say, Vishous ended up with some scars, and not just physical ones.  In fact in many ways the emotional scarring was worse.  I won’t even get into his mommy issues.  Before he meets his shellan, Vishous only engages in one type of intercourse: BDSM.  The only way he can feel pleasure is when someone submits to him and he uses a service from the other side to obtain his willing subs. This process allows him to be gratified while remaining completely detached.

Why do I love him, you ask?  First there is his relationship with his fellow brother, Butch. I love them together.  From Butch’s book forward, I knew that V had feelings for him that went beyond the normal bond between brothers.  When he finally opens up to Butch, it’s incredible and Butch’s reaction is truly touching.  Their comfortable and close relationship is to be admired.

As if the “bromance” wasn’t enough to sell me (which it was), I was completely won over after he met Jane.  He loves her in a way he has never loved anyone, and in the end, he comes full circle, begging Jane to dominate him rather than the other way around.  He puts his trust in her completely, and in doing so, begins to heal.  In my world, I would totally be with the post-Jane version of Vishous.

And now, without further ado…my interview with Sarah, who graciously agreed to share Vishous with me (she’ll take the pre-Jane version).

What would your advice be to someone reading a story involving BDSM for the first time? What unfamiliar terms might someone come across?

Oh, there are so many things. A flogger is a multi tailed whip.  Um, bruising during sex is OK, pain can be a good thing, and yes, cock worship is a real thing

If you were a toy from the BDSM world, what would you be?

Mmmm…a nice suede flogger or maybe a ball gag. I don’t mind causing a bit of pain, but I really like being in mouths…
