Well, folks, we are down to the last Wicked Wednesday submission. So I thought it would be cool to take a look back and review the awesomeness that was Wicked Wednesdays. NC-17 reviews ahead.

SarahBella kicked off WW with bang. Bella is a collared sub and her mysterious Dom brings her to orgasm again and again. You don’t even care who he is, all you know is that you want more.

My story was next and I brought in one of my favorite characters to write, Leah. She really intrigues me and we all know how much I love the thought of the Cullens as swingers.

Lilacs46 and Shellsbells brought some sweet romantic loving with their one-shot, A Win-Win Situation. After losing a bet with her old college crush, Edward, the night turns into something more.

Our very own PG-13 writer SusanAshlea gave the fans of her multi-chap fic Finding Forever a real treat. She really went outside her comfort zones and wrote some Felix smexin’.

Ekimmuh gave us some Jasper/ Alice lovin ‘with an outtake from her story “Perspective.” You can really feel Jasper’s raw emotions running through the piece.

Saluki was up next and wrote our first non-Twilight story. Even though I’ve never read Blue Bloods, It was so well-written it didn’t matter. The urgency and longing  flowed right off the page and made for an incredible read.

I thought I had died and went to Heaven when I saw the title of Jules’ story. Damn, I love me some Carlisle! Paging Dr. Cullen shows Esme’s sexy side and a very naughty Dr. Cullen. All I can say is Guh!

I don’t even know what to say about il-bel-mondo’s “Sex, Whiskey, and Rock & Roll other than Fuckin’A! You get Jake, Edward AND Jasper in this one! The title says it all.

SarahBella graced us with another BDSM and with Edward on his knees for none other than Jasper. This story is slash at its finest.

I was totally floored and have a new obbsession with trains after reading Britpacksucubus’ “Train Ride.” The voyeurism aspect alone is enough to make your panties wet.

If I thought we started with a bang, we ended with a fuckin’ explosion! Hardcore primal fuckin and with a bit of Holy Shit at the end. KariAnn brings us Demitri and Felix long hard and at the same time.

Whew! What a wild ride!

I curled up with a cup of cocoa and had an interesting interview with KariAnn this week. KariAnn is the author of In Pursuit of Normalcy. IpoN has won several awards including: WINNER in the Summer ‘09 Indie TwiFic Awards for Best Non-ExB Story Line WIP, WINNER in the Wolfpack Awards for Best Lemon, Runner-up for the Paris Award (Best Jacob/Anyone Tale) in the Sparkle Awards and has been featured twice in “The Lazy, Yet Discerning Ficster.” In addition, she won Third Place for Best Author in the Sparkle Awards and is up for a Bellie nomination!

Me: How did you find fanfiction?

Kari Ann: Well, actually, I first heard of fan fiction in the mid-90′s when I was really into the X-Files. I read an article about it in a magazine.

Me:  So, X-files huh?

Kari Ann:  Lol, yeah. I’ve actually been reading/writing fan fiction in various genres since the early/mid-nineties. Before I’d ever even heard the term.

Me: Wow. So what do you think of the Twilight fandom compared to other fandoms?

Kari Ann:  Well, actually, this is probably the most I’ve ever been involved in a fandom. But it’s pretty much the same as any other, I guess. I’ve noticed a few things have changed over the years.

Me:  Like what?

Kari Ann:  For example, I’m not sure where the term “lemon” came from. It used to just be called “smut.”

Me:  Huh. I’m not sure where the term came from either. I’ll have to check that out. *runs to find out*

Kari Ann:  Lol. Yeah, I first started hearing that in the Harry Potter fandom.

Me:  What was the first Twlight fanfic you read?

Kari Ann:  Actually, I’ll be honest and say I haven’t read a whole lot of Twilight fan fiction. I read all four novels about a year ago, and I got online to look for some E/B oneshots which I can’t remember the names of, and shortly after that I started writing In Pursuit of Normalcy. The WIPs I’ve read since have all been by my readers.

Me:  Do you have any favorites?

KariAnn: Well, I’m currently reading Vanity and Patience by achelle131, Like Night and Day by EllaB, and Fractured Hearts by cfmom (I beta that one), and they’re all my favorites!

Me:  I found the def for lemon by the way. It’s pretty funny.  A lemon is: A Japanese slang term meaning “sexy” that itself derives from an early pornographic cartoon series called Cream Lemon.

Kari Ann:  Really? Lol, I can’t believe you found that!

Me:  I wiki-ed it

KariAnn:  Ah, of course. Oh, and I’m also reading Defying Destiny by MsShayB. Can’t forget that one.

Me:  What is your favorite ____ward?

Kari Ann:  Eh… Lol.  Hmm.  I don’t know, lol. Haven’t actually read a whole lot of non-canon Edward.

Me:  Hmm…

Kari Ann:  Sorry, lol! I just totally don’t do AH!

Me:  Woah!

Kari Ann:  I know, right?

Me:  I have a hard time writing AH but Damn! I love me some Domward.

Kari Ann:  LOL!

Me:  Okay…  Hmm…

Kari Ann:  Sorry, didn’t mean to throw you there!

Me:  Yeah, I’m a little blown away.

Kari Ann:  Take away the supernatural aspect, and I really don’t see the point.

Me:  Yeah I have to agree BUT there are some writers that are so amazing that you can still get canon personalities with an AH twist.

Kari Ann:  I mean, I knew AH was popular but I didn’t know it was assumed that everyone read it, lol.

Me: So, what inspired IPoN?

Kari Ann:  Well, as I was reading Breaking Dawn, I kept wondering how Nessie would feel as an adult if she found out her family’s… less than enthusiastic acceptance of her during Bella’s pregnancy. So the idea sparked as I was reading, and so I started on it before I got involved in the fandom. I had no idea at the time how much some people hated BD and the “demon spawn” as she’s known in some circles.

Me:  “Demon spawn” *snickers*

Kari Ann:  Lol.

Me:  I like Nessie as a character. She’s fun to write.

Kari Ann:  I like her too. Do you write her also then?

Me:  She makes cameos in my smut.

Kari Ann:  Well, since she was a child in the book, you can make her into whatever you want. You can mold her anyway you choose and make her your own character.

Me:  My Nessie is well-adjusted with a wild streak.

Kari Ann:  Which makes her more fun to write than, say, Bella, who’s already very established.

Me:  I agree.

Kari Ann:  And besides, everyone writes Bella.

Me:  Tell us about your WW submission.

Kari Ann:  Lol, well, it’s a Felix/OC/Demetri smutfest.

Me:  Interesting…

Kari Ann:  Lol, well, I’m interested in the character of Felix because he has quite a significant role in IPoN, and frankly, I’m sort of sick of E/B. Felix and Demetri appeal to me because they’re bad boys.

Me:  You would love Susan’s stuff. She’s a Felix fan as well.

Kari Ann:  Lol! Yeah, we’ve had a few conversations, but I don’t think her Felix is quite as bad as mine,   mine’s an unapologetic manwhore.

Me:  …mawhore. *snorts*

Kari Ann:  Yes, I deliberately write him as sort of Edward’s antithesis.

Kari Ann:  Edward was overly virginal and restrained…  and my Felix is overly sexual.

Me:  Nice. I’m looking forward to reading it.

Kari Ann:  Not that I have a problem with Edward, just to clarify!

Me:  Yeah… Edward and I have issues…

Kari Ann:  lol!

Me:  I just want to kick his ass sometimes.

Kari Ann:  Honestly, SM’s characters just aren’t… gritty enough for me…  If that makes any sense.

Me:  Hence the fan fiction…

Kari Ann:  Exactly!

Me:  Well tell me…Who are your three favorite characters, from any fandom, to write?

Kari Ann:  Lol, well, currently I’m only involved in one fandom, and I’m only writing one WIP!  So it would have to be Nessie, Jacob, and Felix, since those are the three main players in IPoN.

Me:  Now if those three who would you: A: Marry, B: Fuck and C: Kill

Kari Ann (11:12 PM):  Okay, let’s see… I would kill Nessie, because I don’t have any lesbian tendencies, and my other options are to either fuck her or marry her…

Me:  lmao

Kari Ann:  So I would marry Jake and fuck Felix, simply because I couldn’t marry a Volturi member, lol.

Me:  Tell us something that we would be surprised to know about you.

Kari Ann:  Hmm… anything at all?

Me:  Yep.

Kari Ann:  Hmm… Well, can it be something raunchy? I’m just starting to think of the fact that lots of people are going to be reading this, lol!

Me:  Of Course! It’s not called Wicked Wednesdays for nothin’!

Kari Ann:  Just making sure, lol!

Me:  The raunchier the better!

Kari Ann:  I’ve had sex in a missile launcher.

Me:  ?

Kari Ann:  LOL!

Me:  Umm…Wow.  That’s definitely surprising.

Kari Ann:  Shh! Don’t tell anyone!

Me:  Wait, is that even legal?

Kari Ann:  No, probably not.
