MyVampFiction is an open community that encourages fun, intelligent discussion about all things Vampire and Vampire-related.

Our goal is to not only provide a one-stop shop for fans to discuss books, music, movies & television series within the Vampire fiction genre (and to some extent, the Paranormal fiction genre as well), but also to inspire creativity through fan fiction, music & art.

About a year ago, four people met in an online community that had been created for attendees of Twicon 2009 to get to know each other.  They went on to create an unforgettable friendship. During that time, these four women had forged a bond while working as Admins for the fan fiction portion of a Twilight fansite.

Soon after, MyVampFiction was born!  The Co-Owners and Administrators of MyVampFiction have been working hard to create a multi-faceted community where we can provide information, reviews, recomendations, interviews, and other fun features for blog readers to enjoy; as well as providing a quality fan fiction archive where fans of different books, TV Series & Movies within the genre can go to read more stories involving their favorite characters.

Michelle a.k.a. “Meesh”

Meesh has been our primary tech advisor, and has put in many hours on the technical back end to bring you the site you see today.  She has been working in the IT field for 15 years, in all facets of computer technology including graphic design, and webpage design & development. Simply put, without Meesh, MVF couldn’t exist.  She is also an avid reader, and has served as an editor to published authors.  She writes poetry in her spare time, and will be heavily contributing to the music section of MVF.  We thank her for her hard work and her willingness to teach us what needs to be done in order to run a sucessful website.

Sarah a.k.a. “Sarahbella”

Sarah brings a myriad of experience to the MVF team! She has served as a junior validation beta for the Quidditch Pitch, a quality Harry Potter fan fiction archive, for three years.  She also served as a validation beta and administrator for a Twilight fan fiction archive before joining MVF as a co-owner.  She has written 19 Twilight fan fics, and her Series “Darkside: The Series” is one of the Top 10 Favorited Series on Twilighted.net.  Her story “The DarkSide of Twilight” was a finalist in the Indie TwiFic Awards, as well as having been nominated for many different Twilight fan fiction awards.

Heather a.k.a. “Saluki”

Heather is an avid reader and writer.  She has written 4 Twilight Fan Fics, one of which was a finalist in the Indie TwiFic Awards!  She also served as a validation beta of a Twilight fan fiction community for four months before joining the co-owners of MVF in their new adventure.  She enjoys editing, or being a “beta” as it’s known in the fan fic world, and will serve as one of the primary Admins and Validation betas for MVF’s fan fiction archives.

Susan a.k.a. “SusanAshlea”

Susan has been an avid reader of the vampire genre since her high school days (and we won’t mention how long ago those days were).  She discovered The Twilight Saga in August of 2008, and since then has served as a validation beta and forum moderator for a Twilight fansite for 5 months before turning her attention to MVF full time.  She has written 2 multi-chapter Twilight fanfics, one of which most recently won The Golden Apple Category at The Mystic Awards for her portrayal of the Volturi guard member, Felix.

Julie a.k.a “Jules”

Since she can remember, Jules escaped through reading, music and film. She grew up imagining herself into the worlds of other characters and never looked back. She joined the Twifandom a year and half ago, after a friend insisted she see the film.   Thirsty for more, she scoured the internet for a continuation of the story, discovered fan fiction and the rest is history.  She has one completed multi-chapter fic and is currently in the midst of another along with a few one shots. In addition to being a blogger and validation beta for MyVampFiction, Jules is a beta for Project Team Beta, a lover of the Black Dagger Brotherhood series and an avid fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Vampire Diaries and a dedicated Truebie.
